Flip open foot cradle. Ensure ports are clear for charging or audio. Clean the back of your phone cover, then peel the paper off of the 3M binding agent and secure the metal plate close to the bottom of your phone. Press and hold for 10 seconds for a stronger bond. Place phone in the cradle and it will snap into place. Your phone is now magnetically secure! STORYTIME When we were selecting the perfect vent mount, we did a whole battery of testing, putting our own phones on the line. This one won, hands down. And hands up. And hands sideways. Our product developers had a phone measuring contest, and the manager's won as the largest, heaviest phone. She placed the magnetic backing on her phone, placed it on the mount, then violently shook it every which way - endangering all of her contacts, her pictures of internet cats, her iExpensive screen, you name it. We doubt her phone insurance covered this test. While we don't recommend you try the same, you should know the lengths we continue to go to in order to make sure this magnetic dashboard vent mount would keep your phone in place. So yes, this vent mount will keep your heavy phone secure on your vent - though if you have weak vents, you may have to reconsider.
