After broken screens, port damage is one of the most common smartphone repairs. Plugging, unplugging, syncing, charging, is it any wonder your port is worn out? With wireless charging, you can protect your ports for when you really need them! A wireless charger uses electromagnetic induction to charge batteries without the use of cables between the charger and the phone. A wireless charger is a perfect deskmate - waiting for you to put your phone down to charge it.

STORYTIME

One of the most frequent repairs and complaints about phones (after broken screens) is port damage. There are multiple types of ports out there - but it doesn't matter to this charger! As long as your iPhone, Samsung, LG, or Google is Qi enabled, this charger will charge it. As more new models of smartphone are enabled for Qi wireless charging, it's becoming a universal way to charge anyone's phone. Slim profile phone cases work best for wireless charging, and when you charge, make sure it's screen-side up.

Wireless chargers are fairly new, so it's still a little mysterious. How does it work? Through electromagnetic induction. Alternating magnetic waves generate energy between induction coils. The wireless charger's coil sends out an electromagnetic field which is captured by the second coil in the smartphone that converts it into electricity to charge the battery. If the coils aren't aligned correctly, close enough to each other, or have objects blocking the way, then the charge will be slow, dissipate heat, or not occur at all. To get the best charge, make sure your phone is lined up correctly - the indicator lights will help - and make sure your case is thin so the distance between both coils isn't too far.

TESTS & QUALITY CONTROL

100% Charge Test: Full charging functionality connected to power source before exiting the factory.

100% Output Test: Power banks and chargers must have a specific amount of energy output based on their Amperage. A 1.0A socket must show that it is sending between 1.2A and .98A. A 2.4A socket must show it’s sending between 2.6A and 2.2A. Every USB port is tested for its output before being boxed and shipped.

100% Aging Test: Our power banks and chargers are placed into a large room in a batch. There are multiple power strips and stations along the wall. The room is heated to 40°C (or 104°F). They charge for 24 hours. If any of them are overheated, overloaded, or stop functioning, then they are scrapped.
